Sha Tin District Inter-Primary School Basketball Tournament & Intergenerational Health Fun Day at Sun Tin Wai Shopping Centre

We are thrilled to share the successful conclusion of the Sha Tin District Inter-Primary School Basketball Tournament (順聯香港沙田區小學校際籃球超級盃), co-hosted with Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service (HKLSS) and Smart Science Sport and Rehabilitation Services Centre. This exciting 4-month journey brought together over 10 primary schools and nearly 200 young athletes from the Sha Tin district, energizing our community and showcasing the incredible talent of our local youth.

A massive congratulations to G.C.C.I.T.K.D. Cheong Wong Wai Primary School for their outstanding performance and for clinching the championship title! Your dedication and teamwork were truly inspiring.

Sun Tin Wai continues to shine as an intergenerational sports hub, dedicated to nurturing athletic development and fostering strong community bonds. On the day of the final game, we also co-hosted the Intergenerational Health Fun Day (老幼共融健康同樂日), featuring interactive age-friendly sports games, innovative sport-tech retail booths and complimentary health assessments provided by Science Park and HKLSS. This vibrant event united residents of all ages — from energetic kids to active seniors — promoting healthy, active lifestyles across generations.
